Are you facing any problems with your current job and planning for a change in your career? It is important to take the time to evaluate your present situation, to explore career options and to choose a career that will be satisfying for you just like what I have done. The below said tips may help you to some extent.

  • Review past successful roles, project work and jobs to identify your activities and skills.
  • Concentrate on those fields where you are interested and decide for a change.
  • Look for ways to develop new skills in your current job, which would pave the way for a change.
  • Conduct a preliminary comparative evaluation of several fields to identify a few activities in your current job.
  • Consider alternative roles within your current industry that would utilize the industry knowledge you already have.
  • Experience will become an added advantage for you when you are planning for a change in your career.
  • You'll need to be flexible about nearly everything - from your employment status to relocation and salary
  • Training and education is necessary if you are going for a new job profile.
